Northern Asian Bride Tradition

In Central Asia, a wedding is a main function that reflects the city’s wandering past. Although some conventions were outlawed during the 60 to 70 years of Soviet/russian theory, marriage continues to be a substantial occasion. This is mostly because of the fact that the communities in this region are usually big, and each has its own particular traditions.

In the past, a pair do spend time with their families before arranging their union. The wedding was commonly held in autumn or late summertime, when the climate is cooler and economical food is available. The bride’s relatives had prepare a huge dinner and her female friends would supply her gifts. In many regions the vicar’s home may spend a marriage to the bride’s home, which could include horses, cattle, money, needlework or clothing.

The possible man and his male relatives would then kidnap the woman ( hot kazakhstan girls in the old nomadic weeks, by horses, today, by automobile). He had then get her to the house of his parents or his community. His parents and elder relatives may try to persuade the wife to put on a white jacket that signified her approval of the marriage, or danger pain and even death. This practise, known as ala kachuu, was outlawed during the Soviet period, but it appears to be making a comeback.

On the day of the wedding, the girl would be sent with her marriage convoy to the couple’s home. She may remain expected to walk that barefoot, and on the manner she was supposed to be showered with pastries and pennies. She also had to croon goodnight tunes before she left her filial residence, such as the famous Kyrgyz song Koshtasi Zhari.
